November 2017

We’ve had a lovely update with photos from beautiful Ivy and her ‘Mum and Dad’ which we know everyone will love to see.

‘Hi everyone and pre Christmas greetings from Ivy in Glasgow.

Still loving her daily walks with her Granny and wee Sadie the cockapoo and playing with one of her 5 balls. She has now completely taken over the spare room at night though still sneaks into our bed in the middle of the night for a wee hug. Despite having left Cheadle almost 5 years ago she has not forgotten how well looked after she was until she found her forever home.

If you are thinking of adopting a dog from Cheadle please do, you will have no regrets.
Best wishes
Heather and Dean xxxx ‘

May 2015

We had to share these latest gorgeous photos of Ivy. She is such a stunning little girl who has the most wonderful home now with lots and lots of friends. We still get quite choked up- but in the nicest way when we see her looking so happy now. We remember how she was when she came to us and the way she had been treated. She so deserves to find herself now being loved so very, very much.

February 2014 Update

Happy new year. It’s now been a year since Ivy relocated to Scotland and she is now settled in and already has the best seat in the house  with the best view of the world going by. My sister got a cockapoo called Sadie  in May this year and her and Ivy have become good friends and walk together regularly with their granny.

Ivy had a great Christmas and got lots of toys and treats as well as lazy days on the couch with us watching Christmas movies. Its got a bit chilly up here this week so she is going for a new coat this weekend!!  Hope you are all well and any old friends still with you find their forever homes soon
Love Heather, Dean and Ivy xx

January 2013.
Another story we have been waiting to hear! Our smashing Ivy gained a lovely new home in the New Year after 12 months in the kennels! This is what her new ‘Mum’ has to say.

‘Ivy has been with us almost 2 weeks now and she is such a lovely little dog who has settled into her new life in Glasgow from day one. She loves her daily walks with my mum (her Scottish granny!) and has met a few dogs on her travels, which has not been an issue at all.

She also loves her pink blanket and her new bed.

She is house trained and very sociable and whilst I am sad that she was without a proper home for such a long time we are glad we found her as she has already brought such a presence into our home.

Being in the animal welfare kennels has had absolutely no impact on her behaviours whatsoever and I would ask anyone who is thinking of opening their home and heart to a dog to think about some of your longer-term residents who just want to love and be loved in return. Saving one dog has not changed the world but the world has changed for Ivy and we love her to bits.’

How wonderful is this? Bet you have to admit to a tear in your eye after reading this!

A few more photos to share with you of Ivy having well and truly settled into her home- she has enjoyed  a wonderful 2013 summer.
