The Society was formed 50 years ago today by a small number of ladies who identified the desperate need for someone to help the waifs and strays in our area.
Their kindness and dedication resulted in a wonderful legacy which we and our very many supporters and helpers will strive to continue for as long as such help is needed by the lovely dogs and cats that come into our care.
