Our Evening with Charles Hanson, one of TV’s favourite Antiques Experts, has had to be changed as Charles will be filming with the BBC. In his place we have Rik Alexander, an Auctioneer and Operations Manager at Hanson’s Auctioneers. Rik will give a very entertaining and animated talk about Life as an Auctioneer and will be accompanied by Edward Rycroft, Head of Furniture and an Antiques Valuer.
During the course of the evening Rik will conduct a Mini Auction made up of items which have been donated including a Head Portrait of Your Pet, by Eileen Frost, a Voucher for Tea and Cake, a Bus Trip, Brewery Visit, Food Hamper and lots more. We will all be assured of a fantastic evening.

Rik Alexander and Edward Ryecroft provided us with a most entertaining talk about their work at Hansons Auctioneers followed by a Mini Auction. The room was full with a most appreciative audience and we all had a fabulous night’s entertainment. Bidding was brisk for the auction lots, we even had an international telephone bid. We are most grateful to everyone who donated items for us to sell, to The Fireplace Outlet, Fenton for their sponsorship and to everyone who came along to help and support us. Thank you all very much indeed. We raised over £1,800 which was wonderful.
