Philip had been living as an outdoor cat for many months, but then it was noticed that he kept limping on one of his back legs. He was taken to Lime Trees Cat Clinic, Cheadle. His leg was X Rayed which revealed that, amongst other things, he had a big problem with his knee. The only way to stop Philip’s pain was to amputate the leg.
Philip is now in a foster home and is recovering really well. Having 3 legs doesn’t seem to be a big problem to him. He is able to get onto the sofa to sit very cosily with his foster Mum.
Philip will soon be looking for his forever home with someone who will love him to bits and who will enjoy his company. We’re not sure if he would like to share his home with another cat or dog so perhaps it’s best if we find him a home where he is the only pet. Obviously he will need a home where there is safe outdoor space so he can enjoy the great outdoors once again.
Vaccinated. Neutered. Microchipped
