Roo is only looking for a new home because of illness. She is a greatly loved little dog who is very active. She is a beautiful girl, so loving and caring. She is ‘needy’ and must have a lot of attention. She likes quiet, calm rooms with little noise and distraction otherwise she will bark at things.
She would suit a family with older children over 12 years old or a very active young retired couple who can give her all the attention she needs and also take her out a lot with them.
She has been living with another dog and they play constantly together outside and in, but she can take over and want all the attention in the home, so another dog could lose out on attention and jealousy could occur if not a very polite dog like her current buddy! So she is possibly best as a sole dog in the home… but to have plenty of opportunities to play and meet other dogs when out! She does have some separation anxiety but likes and is used to the boarding kennels she goes to at times and is fine. She can bark at vans and large vehicles such as tractors when she is out walking or travelling in a car.
Roo loves her food, but she is very territorial about it and needs to be left alone while eating it. She did originally have a sensitive tummy but with a very good diet she has no problems and her skin and coat are in great condition.
She has loved long walks in the past, cuddles and playing with other dogs for playtimes. She needs to be groomed often and is very well behaved for the groomers and also whenever she has to go to the vets.
Vaccinated. Microchipped. Wormer and deflea treatments given regularly
