Domino

Domino is now living the dream in his new home. He came to live with us 5 months ago after being abandoned by his former owner and found living as a stray. Domino missed a lot of potential opportunities for rehoming as he spent all his time hiding under his blanket at the cattery and spent over 3 months there.
When we brought Domino home we left him in the utility in his carrier with the doors open and within less than 10 minutes he jumped onto a bench in the kitchen to sit next to us. At first he liked to follow us around and sit near us, but not on our laps. After about 3 months he jumped onto my lap one day and I knew we’d bonded for life.
Domino had a very stringy tail when he came to us. It has fluffed up a lot and is much thicker now he has settled. Domino enjoys snoozing in his favourite chair on the lovely knitted blanket he came with. (Thank you to whoever knitted it, we and Domino love it.)
Domino loves exploring the garden. In the summer he had lots of fun hiding in our wildflower meadow. The garden backs onto open fields so he has lots of adventures. It’s always a delight to see him come running down the garden. Now it’s turned cold, Domino enjoys sitting by the Aga or snuggling up in a comfy bed. He certainly knows where his home is and we hope we’ve made him as happy as he has us!
