Mona lived as a stray for all of her life until she and her sister were befriended by a kind couple. Her sister Onyx has recently been rehomed.

Although a bit shy, both cats were friendly while they were with the couple who cared for them. In the cattery they are quite bewildered especially when anyone different visits. They have been absolutely fine when taken to the vets for their vaccinations and have not presented any problems when being picked up. They just need someone who is used to cats to offer them a home and give them lots of TLC.

A home without children would probably be best as they will feel more comfortable in a quiet environment. It is sad to see them hiding when anyone visits the cattery, but that is not what they are like when they are with familiar people.

I do hope that because they are black cats and a bit shy that they do not have to stay with us for months.
