Prevent a litter month

The month of February is ‘Prevent a Litter Month’. This is to encourage people who have cats to get them neutered to prevent the production of so many unwanted cats and kittens.

There is nothing cuter than a little kitten, but in a very short period of time they grow into adult cats and can start breeding themselves when they are as young as 4 -5 months old. Unneutered cats may also pass on nasty diseases such as Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukaemia.

If you have unneutered cats PLEASE get them neutered as soon as possible and look out for feral cats who also need to be neutered.
