A change in his family’s circumstances meant that Rio needed a new home. We discovered that he badly needed BOAS surgery to remove the excess tissue that was causing obstruction to his airways in his nose and throat. This was successfully carried out at the Limetrees Veterinary Hospital and with the costs helped out by receipt of donations from many generous people.
RIo was looked after by his lovely foster Mum until he went to live in his new home once fully recovered.
He has settled into his new home immediately and is thoroughly enjoying his new life. He is completely doted on and is enjoying the best of everything he can be given. In return he is giving his new Mum lots of love and affection.
His many followers will be very pleased to know that this gorgeous little boy is now a very happy and healthy one.
