Well Done– They did it!! £255 raised to date from Jill and Mark Downie’s cycle ride in Austria

Thanks so much to everyone who sponsored Mark & Jill. To date they have received £255 in sponsorship money. Brilliant!

Congratulations to Jill & Mark Downie for completing their Austrian cycle ride as planned- they even did an extra loop! They also discovered only the start and end parts of the route were flat! They completed it on the 13th September.

Here are a few photos to prove it! There is still time to sponsor them if you would like to for their efforts. All funds go to support the animals in the our care.

Sponsor Jill and Mark Downie’s cycle ride in Austria and raise funds for the cats and dogs in the care of Cheadle & District Animal Welfare Society

Jill and Mark Downie are taking the opportunity of using their planned trip to raise money for Cheadle & District Animal Welfare Society. The couple are certainly doing their bit to help us at present, they recently walked up Snowdon too but we weren’t able to announce that in time to get sponsors so we hope you will sponsor them on this trip please?

They will be cycling over 100 miles during one week along the Danube Valley in Austria. They start and end at Maria Taferl via Melk and Durnstein taking in cycle routes around each of the towns too. As soon as they have completed the cycle route we will announce it on our website and facebook page. So you can either sponsor them in anticipation or once they have completed it!
