Gwen

Gwen is a red Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was very timid when she was found as a stray and how she was treated in the past was questionable. She must have wondered what had gone wrong to find herself in kennels and she was bewildered by the sound of so many dogs around her for quite a while. She was in our care for just over 12 months until her lucky day thankfully finally arrived.

She won over the hearts of her new ‘Mum and Dad’ immediately and despite a few house training hiccups in the first few weeks which were addressed following the advice of our volunteer canine behaviourist Rachel, and with the love and patience of her ‘Mum and Dad’ Gwen settled herself in straight away. (now its a case of what hiccups!- long forgotten, as having the most gorgeous dog ever was well worth having just a little patience!).

She has also melted the hearts of everyone she comes into contact with- family, friends and all visitors. She is the most photogenic little girl and the photos received of her on her lovely walks, asleep on her ‘mum and dad’, on the settee, on the bed, out with others show how happy and content she is now. What a fabulous future and lifestyle she can now look forward to enjoying!

We are all so very happy for Gwen. She really deserves such a fantastic home and new life.

A few of her photos below show just how very happy she is now (as are her ‘Mum and Dad’).
