Happy New Year! We hope it is a much better year for everyone!
Thank you for your continued support plus donations and gifts for the cats and dogs received over Christmas. We really appreciate everything you send to us and do for us.
Due to the Covid 19 Tier we are now placed in rehoming our cats and dogs will be difficult, but anyone wishing to offer one of them a home should please still contact us to register an interest.
As a result of COVID 19 our normal regular fund raising activities and events have been practically non existent and we have relied heavily on the generosity of people throughout who have kindly donated or sponsored the activities which some of you undertook for us.
We do have our Ebay ‘shop’ which we have started to advertise a few things on and we hope you will keep checking that. We have quite a range of of items that we are selling on ebay to raise funds, including cards, jigsaws, books, gifts and toys. Please take a look. We can’t hold our normal monthly sales for you to attend but we can invite you to look on ebay! Once on the ebay site, search for Cheadle Animal Welfare Society and you find all the items to buy.
Our 50:50 club too continues if you would like to take part, it costs just £12 per year for each number you choose. One number is drawn on the 1st Tuesday of each month and the person with that number wins half of the proceeds of the 50:50 Club for that month the other half of the proceeds is used for the Waifs and Strays.

Also, new this year! Recycle4Charity is a free and easy to use ink recycling programme, that helps its thousands of members raise funds for charity and non-for-profit organisations. Cheadle & District Animal Welfare Society is now registered with them.
So please do not throw away your old ink cartridges! If you obtain a postage free envelope from Recycle4charity and post the old cartridge to them we will receive a donation from them. You can send several in one go too!
