IMPORTANT IF YOU USE ‘The Meir Aerodrome Dog Walkers Area’

PLEASE BE AWARE

We have received some very disturbing news today, 7th January about poisoned meat being found on the pathway on the Meir Aerodrome Dog Walkers Area and we ask that anyone walking their dog in this area should be extra vigilant.  It is probably best if you keep your dog on the lead.

The person who informed us had heard that 2 dogs had been taken to one of the vets having eaten the meat, but we don’t know the outcome.  This is not the first time that this kind of thing has happened in this area.

If you come across any meat on the path please put it into a polythene bag and inform the Police and the Council.

Keep your dog safe to avoid a tragedy.
