A huge thank you to The Pets at Home Foundation for their recent amazing donation of 1858.81 pounds following the Santa Paws Fundraising event during November/December 2022.

This amazing total of £1,858.81 was only made possible due to the outstanding team at Pets at Home Uttoxeter – all of whom worked so hard to raise this money for the Waifs & Strays – as always we are so very grateful for their support. This money will help towards the veterinary costs of little black cat Nancy who sadly needs to have her leg amputated; it will also help black and white cat Spud who this week has gone to a fantastic new home but we will continue to fund his treatment for hypothyroidism; it will also help to pay for food and cat litter for mum cat Evie and her three kittens who were only days old when left abandoned by their owners

… A big thank you to the Pets at Home Uttoxeter customers and thank you to the volunteers for their in store support. What a result!

The Pets at Home Santa Paws Appeal is the flagship fundraising event organised by the Pets at Home Foundation and sponsored by James Wellbeloved.

Cheadle Animal Welfare has been fortunate to be partnered with the Uttoxeter Pets at Home Store for a few years and as part of the Santa Paws Appeal we have been asked to support the Uttoxeter team during this fundraising event which takes place from Monday 21st November until Christmas Eve.

We have a number of volunteers who will be in store on Saturday 26th November and the 3rd, 10th and 17th December who will be hoping to encourage customers to donate 50p which will go towards Christmas Dinners for four and two legged, furry and feathered friends throughout the country.

Cheadle Animal Welfare will receive 50% of the total amount raised by the Uttoxeter Pets at Home Store so please if you can, do support this very worthwhile cause – the team at the Uttoxeter store are fantastic and great supporters of all the work we do.

Update:

The last day for donating is Saturday 24th December so please if you are visiting Pets At Home Uttoxeter perhaps you could consider making a donation to this fantastic annual fundraising event. A team of volunteers have been taking it in turns to have a presence in store over the last four Saturdays – a huge thank you to them and of course to our four legged friends who have also taken part. A big thank you too to the team at Pets At Home Uttoxeter for their continued support. They are amazing!

Watch this space for an update on how much Cheadle Animal Welfare will receive at the end of the appeal.

Thank you!
