On Friday 28th October we are holding a Quiz Night at Greatwood Hall, Hollington Road, Tean ST10 4JY. Starts 7pm.
*Update* Thank you to Phil who organised a brilliant Quiz. We are also very grateful to the Goldfish Bowl, Cheadle for providing us with a fantastic supper of Fish and Chips. We had 16 teams and all did very well, but some of course did better than others. The losing team didn’t go away empty handed as they each won a big tube of Smarties while the winning team members each won a bottle of wine. Thank you to the people who donated the prizes and to everyone who helped on the night. With a lot of team work £516 was raised for the Waifs and Strays. Fantastic!
Quiz master Phil is once again compiling the questions and during the evening The Goldfish Bowl in Cheadle will be bringing along Fish and Chips or a Veggie Option for our suppers. We will have a sales table, a raffle and a draw to win a bottle of Gin.
It should be a really good night’s entertainment based on the recent summer quiz.
The cost is £10 per person which will include a supper of fish and chips with mushy peas. Veggie option available, together with a raffle ticket.
Please bring your own drinks and glasses.
There will be an opportunity to buy more raffle tickets if you would like to for the main raffle prizes and there will also be a separate raffle for you to win a bottle of whisky with a donation of just £1.
Teams can have up to a maximum of 5 people. You must book in with us before the event please.
** Please let us know if you would like to attend with a team. Also, we need to know if any members of your team will want a veggie option.
Team numbers are limited so please contact us as soon as possible if wanting to join us and so your food can be ordered.
We will then provide details on methods to pay.
