Mary, who is now called Willow, has really landed on all four paws. She is adored by her new owner and his family. She is a really intelligent cat, loves to play and loves to explore outside. At night she sits by the living room door at about 10.30pm signalling that it’s time for bed. Her owner gets into bed and she jumps up, rubs noses with him and then settles down at the end of the bed where she sleeps all night.
Several times a week her owner visits a neighbour and after a few minutes Willow follows to see where he has gone. She sits outside the patio doors miaowing to be allowed in, obviously thinking there is no need for her to sit in the cold while everyone else is in a nice warm room.
Learning to use the cat flap is work in progress. She will go through it but only if a packet of Dreamies is waiting on the other side.
What a very lucky cat she is to have found her ideal home.
