Rhoda

Rhoda 1 1st feb 16

Rhoda is settling in well.  Her new family have said that she is a little bit nervous of people around the house but is settling in a bit more each day.  She is a very fussy and friendly cat once she has got your reassurance.

An update from Rhoda’s family –

Just a quick update about Rhoda’s progress with us. She is settling in well and is starting to relax more. She loves sitting on my knee and having a fuss but is still a little wary of my husband but he can be quite loud and he also waves his arms around a lot. She is still nervous of new situations and when we have visitors but she is getting better. She is eating very well and we have found out she loves cheese and also strips of ham which she plays with first by throwing them up in the air and catching them before eating them. She has been very good around the house and is using the litter tray no problem and hasn’t made a mess anywhere. She responds when we tell her no or get down when she goes somewhere she shouldn’t. We haven’t let her out in garden yet as we do not think she is ready as she is still a little nervous but she does like looking outside through the window and door. We were thinking of getting her a lead so we can walk her around the garden to get used to the area before finally letting out on her own. She likes to sit on a chair in the bedroom by a radiator which was one of  Hippy’s favourite places which is why we have put the casket there at the moment. (Hippy was the previous family cat).
